Discover why JCK 2024 continues to dominate as the premier jewellery show in the industry!

"This year's JCK exceeded all expectations," says Sarin Bachmann, Group Vice President of RX's jewellery portfolio and event leader for JCK. "Even in times of uncertainty in the jewellery industry, JCK once again proved to be the gathering place for the entire industry to source products, unveil new technologies and strategies, learn, discuss, network, and place orders for the upcoming selling season. There was a noticeable shift in the industry's energy upon arriving at JCK and Luxury, and the enthusiasm on the show floor prevailed, leaving the industry on a very positive note."

JCK concluded its 2024 edition on a high note, solidifying its position as the most important global gathering for the jewellery trade. Considered the 'Super Bowl' of the jewellery industry, JCK continues to set the tone, trends, and mood for the industry for the year to come.

During the week of May 29 to June 3, over 30,000 industry professionals from all sectors of the jewellery industry gathered at The Venetian and The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas for a week of product sourcing, education, and networking. The event included 17,300 attendees and over 1,900 exhibitors across more than 20 different neighbourhoods. JCK, AGTA, GEMS, and the Hong Kong Pavilion started on May 30, with JCK Talks beginning the day before. Luxury specifically welcomed invited retailers on May 29 and 30.

The organizers of JCK made safety and security a top priority for this year's show. They implemented additional qualification measures for all attendees and increased security measures at the event, including badge scanning validation and weapons detection scanning at each entrance. According to Bachmann, these enhancements aim to benefit the entire industry by providing a safe space for attendees and exhibitors. The organizers managed to implement these measures without causing delays in entry, and their efforts were greatly appreciated by the attendees.

JCK Talks & Education

The JCK Talks education program spanned four days with content organized into tracks. Newly debuted 2024 tracks included Your Development, Business Management, and Sales. The "Social Stage" made a comeback after its impressive debut at JCK 2023. This year, Friday’s topics focused on content, Saturday’s highlighted data, and Sunday’s showed how to bring it all into practice. Content creators and influencers who have mastered engagement led multiple sessions at The Social Stage. This year, for the first time, I joined the influencers's panel to give a talk on "Influencer collaboration - creating meaningful partnership and collaborations". Please check out the photos from our talk below. :-)

Both JCK and Luxury continued to feature inspiring keynotes. Luxury keynotes included Kyle Scheele, sponsored by the Natural Diamond Council, and Henry Winkler, sponsored by De Beers Group. JCK's keynote was a tremendous success, with every seat full for Sugar Ray Leonard, who took the stage to recap his career and share lessons learned on "The Power to Win," sponsored by Platinum Guild International USA.

Events & Activations

The theme for JCK 2024 was "Love," and it featured exciting activations and photo-worthy moments. Activities included a JCK Chapel with an Elvis impersonator, a "Puppy Love" lounge, a Love Lock Fence sponsored by Stuller, and an airbrush tattoo artist. These activities left a positive impact on the show floor and sparked inspiration for attendees to bring similar activations to their stores.

The JCK Rocks Tao Beach event was a huge success and an epic night. This year’s concert at TAO Beach featured the GRAMMY-nominated artist Flo Rida and was attended by enthusiastic JCK attendees and exhibitors. JCK organized the event to show gratitude to the industry and celebrate a successful show. The evening started with Facets, a benefit event for Jewelers for Children, which raised over $2 million for children’s causes. Then, an energetic band led people through The Venetian and Canal Shoppes in a parade to Tao Nightclub to prepare for JCK Rocks.

Two main events worth mentioning from JCK and Luxury; The first one is The Diamonds Do Good Gala Dinner Night and the Second one is the Cat Walking Evening arranged by LeVian Luxury Jewellery and by CEO Eddie Levian.

Hollywood's beloved jewellery house, Le Vian, proudly hosted an exclusive Red Carpet Revue and Catwalk at Luxury by JCK in Las Vegas, where they confidently unveiled their 2025 Trend Forecast and new collections driven by consumer sentiment.

CEO Eddie LeVian says: "Every year, we strive to create a beautiful collection of jewellery pieces that reflect the current mood. From the gold-dipped jewels of Wonder & Awe to the twinkling, celestial story of Inspiration, this year's collections are designed to transport us to an enchanting, magical world - and you are invited!"

A ballroom filled with jewellery enthusiasts eagerly awaited Le Vian's unveiling of the upcoming year's jewellery trends. Models flaunted the latest creations, featuring Blueberry Sapphires™, rubies, and Chocolate Diamonds™. These collections reflect Le Vian’s 2025 trend predictions, based on careful consumer sentiment analysis.

The evening kicked off with a red-carpet welcome and interviews featuring Julia Chafe, followed by a five-segment program. The program included the 2025 Trend Forecast, a Catwalk Fashion Show, and a performance by master mentalist Lior Suchard, who amazed the audience with his mind-boggling finale act while revealing the key trends of the year and the family values that drive Le Vian. Later, guests enjoyed a captivating performance by Mark McGrath of the popular band Sugar Ray. The event also supported selected charities, with Le Vian and an anonymous donor matching the first $250,000 of donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and $50,000 to Diamonds Do Good, a global non-profit that empowers people in diamond communities worldwide.
