India Illuminates INHORGENTA 2025 as Official Partner Country

At INHORGENTA 2025, held from February 21 to 24 at Messe München in Munich, India was honoured as the official partner country, highlighting its significant role in the global gem and jewellery industry. This collaboration, facilitated by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) and Messe München GmbH, underscores the deep-rooted economic and cultural ties between India and Germany, spanning over 500 years.

Grand Inauguration Reflecting Indian Heritage

The India Pavilion's inauguration was a grand affair, attended by distinguished dignitaries including Mr. Shatrughna Sinha, Consul General of India in Munich; Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of GJEPC; Mr. Stefan Rummel, CEO of Messe München; and Ms. Stefanie Mändlein, Exhibition Director of INHORGENTA. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of lamps, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and ushering in knowledge and prosperity. This ritual set the stage for a pavilion seamlessly blending India's rich cultural heritage with contemporary design.

Curated by GJEPC, the India Pavilion featured over 50 Indian exhibitors, each showcasing a stunning array of jewellery that exemplified India's prowess in design and craftsmanship. Notable participants included:

  • Vishal Jewels: With a decade-long legacy, Vishal Jewels is dedicated to providing Hallmark gold and certified diamond jewellery, ensuring authenticity and excellence in every piece.

  • iJewel3D: Revolutionizing Jewelry Design with Technology

    iJewel3D specializes in transforming CAD designs into stunning 3D jewellery renderings, offering designers and manufacturers a platform to visualize their creations with remarkable realism. Their services enable the showcasing of jewellery pieces in diverse environments, enhancing the design process and marketing strategies.

These brands, among others, presented collections that highlighted India's ability to blend traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.





The India Experience Zone: A Cultural Immersion

A highlight of the pavilion was the India Experience Zone, offering visitors an immersive journey into India's cultural and artistic heritage. This area showcased handcrafted jewellery, textiles, and traditional crafts, providing a sensory experience that celebrated the country's artistic diversity. Visitors were also treated to traditional Indian beverages and delicacies, all set against the backdrop of soothing aromas and melodic music, creating an ambience that encapsulated the essence of India. The Brand India Gallery within the pavilion displayed masterpieces from the Artisan Jewellery Design Awards, demonstrating India's exceptional talent and creative excellence. This gallery underscored the country's commitment to nurturing design innovation while honouring time-honoured craftsmanship.


Strengthening Indo-European Jewellery Relations

The partnership between GJEPC and INHORGENTA aims to deepen trade relations between India and Europe. By providing a platform for Indian manufacturers to showcase their expertise, the collaboration seeks to enhance India's presence in the European market, offering buyers access to exclusive and innovative designs.
